Town of Bel Air issued the following announcement on June 15.
The Town of Bel Air is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Construction Worker II in the Department of Public Works.
This position requires the performance of general construction work using standard construction power tools and pneumatic equipment, plus other duties as assigned. This employee also operates a two-axle dump truck.
Requirements include: completion of a 10th grade education, high school diploma or GED preferred, valid State of Maryland Commercial Driver's License (CDL), experience working with concrete and asphalt, safe and proper operation of various hand and power tools, capable of lifting 100 lbs. Salary starts at $15.26 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Special Requirements
Must have a valid State of Maryland Commercial Drivers License (CDL) to drive/operate two-axle dump truck. Please note that participation in the Town of Bel Air Civilian Employees Pension Retirement Plan requires that you contribute 5.9% (pre-tax) of your pay each year.
