Howard County Police Department issued the following announcement on June 15.
OVERDOSES: The Howard County Police Department and Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services responded to two non-fatal overdoses in the past 24 hours. Narcan was administered to both individuals; one was transported to the hospital.
2018 Year-To-Date Overdoses
Fatal: 21*
Non-Fatal: 93
*In fatal cases, some deaths are pending autopsy results for opioids and/or other substances. Numbers may fluctuate.
