On Saturday, May 17, former Hammond High School standout Madison Berning’s current collegiate team the Moravian Greyhounds won 3-1 against the Eastern Eagles in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Blue & Grey Softball Field at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Eastern Eagles in the tournament.

The Moravian Greyhounds’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 1 p.m. at Blue & Grey Softball Field.
