Cost of college went up for all students at Lincoln College of Technology-Columbia

Tuition and fees rose 6.2 percent for 2018-19 at Lincoln College of Technology-Columbia, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Maryland students paid $27,792 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $1,620 more than the $26,172 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 363 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.6 million and 428 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.2 million.

Including all undergraduates (749), 639 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.4 million, and 709 students took out $5 million in federal student loans.
