Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 14.
Five Maryland casinos, including Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, announced they will cut their customer traffic in half as a preventive measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus. Horseshoe joined with Anne Arundel County's Live Casino, Hollywood Casino Perryville, Ocean Downs Casino on the Eastern Shore and Western Maryland's Rocky Gap Casino to share plans to "drastically cut customer interactions on their gaming floors" starting on Monday. The casinos said they will create "social distancing".
