Colesville home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Colesville rose by $38,350 while total sales increased by 13.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 140 homes sold, with a median sale price of $466,250 - a 9% increase over the $427,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 123 homes sold in Colesville in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Colesville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,084, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
