Colesville home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Colesville rose by $37,500 while total sales increased by 5.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 152 homes sold, with a median sale price of $442,500 - a 9.3% increase over the $405,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 144 homes sold in Colesville in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Colesville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,084, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
