Howard County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 20.
On Friday, March 22, Jon Nitz, Membership Specialist and Sylvie Porter, Communications Manager will serve their last day as employees of the Howard County Chamber. Both employees have secured new employment opportunities at Impact Marketing and Johns Hopkins University APL respectively. “While we are sad to see both Jon and Sylvie leave, we are appreciative of their service and dedication to the Chamber and the Howard County business community. They have served admirably. I am excited to see them advance their careers with a business and institution that affords them opportunities for professional growth and that serve Howard County and the region,” commented Chamber President Leonardo McClarty.
Although, the Chamber is undergoing staffing transition, members can rest assured that quality programming and insightful business information will continue without missing a beat. The Chamber has secured temporary support to aid in membership, community services and communications.
