Howard County, Maryland issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
Paving and striping is complete and new guardrail to be installed tomorrow, December 19. The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic Thursday, December 20 afternoon.
New sidewalks running along Old Stockbridge Drive will be installed after the Christmas holiday.
In addition, please note, crews will return in the spring of 2019 to remove the existing ducts over the 36” water main once all utilities have been relocated. At this time, Old Stockbridge Drive from Whistling Pines Court to Village Drive will be repaved. Flagging operations will be in place for this project as one lane closure is expected.
