Howard County Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.

Residential burglary

Ellicott City, 21043: 2900 block of Rosemar Drive, Nov. 19-20 overnight

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to an attached garage by using a garage door opener from a vehicle. Nothing was reported stolen.

Columbia, 21045: 6100 block of Silver Arrows Way, Nov. 19-20 overnight

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the residence by kicking in a door. Nothing was reported stolen.

Laurel, 20723: 9100 block of Moonshine Hollow, Nov. 20 7:15 a.m.-6:52 p.m.

Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the residence by prying open the door and stole a television, video game console, clothing, and medication.

Indecent exposure

Woodbine, 21797: McDonald’s, 700 block of Lisbon Center Drive, Nov. 20 9:16 p.m.

A teenage female employee reported that a male suspect exposed himself at the drive-thru window before driving off.

SUSPECT: white male, 50-60 years old with a heavy build wearing blue jeans and a gray t-shirt

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in

Ellicott City, 21043: 2800 block of Montclair Drive, Nov. 19-20 overnight, various items

Columbia, 21044: 11300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, Nov. 20 9:29 a.m., purse

Columbia, 21045: Cradlerock Way @ Garland Lane, Nov. 20 11 a.m.-1:17 p.m., backpacks

9300 block of Indian Camp Road, Nov. 20 6:24 p.m., tags

9600 block of Whiteacre Road, Nov. 20 9:08 p.m., unclear if anything was stolen

Overdose

Police responded to two non-fatal overdoses on Tuesday and Wednesday.

2018 YTD Overdoses

Fatal: 39 (29 opioid-related)*

Non-Fatal: 162

*Opioid-related confirmed though autopsy. Some OD deaths are still pending autopsy results for opioids and/or other substances. Numbers may fluctuate.
