Rookie REALTOR® Lunch and Learn is for REALTORS who have been in the business for four years or less.
The Mortgage Process and Role of the Title Company
Learn about the mortgage process from the application to the closing. Learn who’s who and what’s what. What is the role of the loan officer, the loan processor, and the mortgage underwriter and where the real estate appraiser fits in.
Learn when the title company gets involved and what effect the title search may have on the transaction. Gain insight into what documentation the title company will gather from other parties (HOA, lenders, etc.) to prepare for the closing. Know what to expect at the closing table.
