Howard County Executive issued the following announcement on Oct. 3.
Howard County’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m. in Multipurpose Rooms 2, 3 and 4 at the Church of the Resurrection, 3175 Paulskirk Drive in Ellicott City, to provide an update on the flood mitigation effort regarding the Valley Mede and Chatham neighborhoods.
The meeting will include an informal presentation and open discussion. County staff will also be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments.

An interpreter for people who are deaf or hard of hearing will be available if requested seven working days prior to the meeting. Please call DPW at 410-313-3440 (voice) or use Relay at 7-1-1, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
