Howard County Police Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.
The Howard County Police Department and Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services responded to a non-fatal overdose over the weekend. Narcan was administered and the person was transported to the hospital.
2018 Year-To-Date Overdoses
Fatal: 32*
Non-Fatal: 141
*In fatal cases, some deaths are pending autopsy results for opioids and/or other substances. Numbers may fluctuate.
