Howard County had one gas station selling midgrade gas at the lowest price of $3.13 per gallon during the week ending Feb. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, midgrade gas averaged $3.65 per gallon.
Of the 73 reported gas stations in cities within Howard County, 35 offered midgrade gas.
The statewide average price of midgrade gas in Maryland was $3.53 per gallon for the week ending Feb. 28, unchanged from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
